Day 5 - The Journey continues

I have hit my 10,000 steps per day ( and a few more ) for 8 consecutive days! That's pretty impressive for a gal that was barely hitting 4,000 steps a day just two months ago.
For the most part, I am sticking to watching what I am eating. I am VERY conscious of everything I eat so when I do fall and eat three vanilla creme sandwich cookies, I am loathe to log it, but I do.
I purchased one of those weight-loss hula hoops. I've watched a bunch of TikTok videos on them and since I did browse for them my social media sites were flooded with ads for them. The claim is that if you use this for 30 minutes a day you can trim up to 2 inches off your waist in just one month.
The only directions that come with the device are the ones on how to clip it together. Whomever designed it is under the assumption that I know how to actually hula. Apparently I do not.
I'm going to keep on trying, this is actually kind of fun and several people I've talked to want to try it now.My next challenge will be learning how to jump rope ... again. Its been a hot minute since I have done that and my body is built a bit different now. I hope I don't face plant.
