One Week Down - its all about the portions
Admittedly, I've skipped the treadmill this morning. I've skipped walking the trail as well. I decided to just pull back a little for the day. As long as I get back on tomorrow, I will be okay. I did walk up and down our drive like six times chasing off a dog from the down the road, so I did get a few steps in. Our drive is not like pulling off the street and arriving at the garage in a few feet like you would in a suburban neighborhood, it is probably about six car lengths. Today marks Day 7 in my renewed resolve to take on a healthier lifestyle. It also marks "portion day" for me. That means taking time in my schedule to sit down and portion out my snacks for the next week or so. The point in doing this is really two-fold. One, it saves me time.
